These Terms and Conditions apply to all driving lessons and services provided by AshBee Driving. By booking a lesson, you agree to be bound by these terms.

 

1. About Us

AshBee Driving provides professional driving instruction to learner drivers. Lessons are delivered by a qualified driving instructor in accordance with DVSA standards.

 

2. Eligibility for Lessons

To take driving lessons with AshBee Driving, you must:

• Hold a valid UK provisional driving licence

• Meet the legal eyesight requirements for driving

• Be medically fit to drive and inform the instructor of any condition that may affect driving ability

AshBee Driving reserves the right to refuse or terminate a lesson if these requirements are not met.

 

3. Lesson Bookings and Payments

• Lessons must be booked in advance

• Payment is required before or at the start of the lesson, unless otherwise agreed

• Block bookings may be offered at a discounted rate and must be used within the agreed timeframe

• Prices are subject to change, but confirmed bookings will be honoured at the agreed rate

 

4. Cancellations and Lateness

• A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or rearrange a lesson

• Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full

• If you are late, the lesson may still end at the scheduled time

• If AshBee Driving needs to cancel a lesson, reasonable notice will be given and no charge will apply

 

5. Instructor Cancellations

Lessons may occasionally be cancelled due to illness, vehicle issues, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases:

• You will not be charged

• The lesson will be rearranged at a mutually convenient time

 

6. Conduct During Lessons

AshBee Driving expects all learners to behave respectfully. Lessons may be terminated immediately if:

• The learner is under the influence of alcohol or drugs

• The learner behaves abusively, aggressively, or dangerously

• The instructor believes it is unsafe to continue

In such cases, the lesson fee will still apply.

 

7. Driving Test Bookings

• Responsibility for booking practical and theory tests rests with the learner

• Use of the instructor’s car for a driving test is at the instructor’s discretion

• A separate test-day fee may apply

• The instructor reserves the right to refuse use of the vehicle if the learner is not test-ready

 

8. Use of the Vehicle

• Lessons are normally conducted in the instructor’s vehicle unless agreed otherwise

• Learners must follow all instructions given by the instructor

• AshBee Driving is not responsible for offences committed by the learner during a lesson where legal responsibility applies

 

9. Liability

AshBee Driving holds appropriate driving instructor insurance.
However:

• AshBee Driving is not liable for loss, damage, or injury caused by failure to follow instructions

• Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot be excluded by law

 

10. Personal Data

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains how data is collected, stored, and used.

 

11. Changes to These Terms

AshBee Driving may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on the website.
